Welcome
My name is Kelsey Penrose, and I am a storyteller.
My only dream in life is to tell stories, in whatever way I can. I've been writing my entire life, and hopefully the things I write will last long after I’m gone.
I became a reporter in 2018, first for the Record Courier in Douglas County, and then for Carson Now in Carson City. I now serve as weekend editor for Carson Now, as well as the editorial coordinator for Carson Now print publications, and I am a contributor with the Reno News and Review, This is Reno, and the Sierra Nevada Ally.
